Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Recovery House of Central Florida, Inc.  Without volunteers we couldn’t keep the doors open and provide the help that each man seeking our assistance deserves.  We’re grateful that you’re thinking about spending some time with our agency and we wanted to share with you a few things to help make your experience a positive one.  Please consider the following as you think about volunteering with us:

Since there is a diversity of personal religious beliefs among our clients, we ask that, while volunteering,   your personal beliefs remain personal to avoid any potential misunderstandings.

While volunteering at RHCF, you may be asked for personal assistance, including money, favors,   transportation to different places, etc.  Each man staying with us has access to a Case Manager and other   staff and his needs are being met by this agency and partnering agencies. Although it may feel like a good   thing to do, giving a client what he asks for may, in fact, not be in his best interest. We request that you   please refrain from giving any client anything without first clearing it with staff.

The confidentiality of clients who stay with us is paramount. During the volunteer application process,   you’ll be asked to sign a Confidentiality Agreement stating that you’ll keep what you see and hear at   RHCF to yourself.

Also during the application process you will be asked to sign an injury liability waiver.
